Hello! My name is Garrett Brown, and I am a writer based in Portland, Oregon. In 2017, I graduated from Pacific University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, with double minors in Theatre and Gender and Sexuality Studies.
In 2017, I began working in Portland theatre professionally, eventually completing internships and mentorship with theatres such as Original Practice Shakespeare, Artists Repertory Theatre, and Third Rail Repertory Theatre.
In 2020, I began taking online courses from Epicodus, completing a certificate in Web and Mobile Development in 2022. As part of the certification, I completed a four month internship with Out In Tech as a member of their Partnership Team.
I have always enjoyed writing and researching, and in 2023, I realized that is what I really enjoy doing, and want to make a career out of it.
